1853- Harriet Tubman started the Underground Rail Road for helping free slaves. Mrs. Tubman is credited for aiding countless slaves. Also, she was a spy for the Union Army and that is only one of her numerous as well as successful life's work. Harriet Tubman (born Araminta Ross; c. 1822 – March 10, 1913) was an African-American abolitionist, humanitarian, and overall incredible woman. She hands down will be written as one of the greatest people in history and a someone who was never afraid.
