RIP Michael Freeney

I wanted to share some news about some sad news I just learned. A young brother who was a bright and promising journalist just died. Michael Freeney age 32 was a brother who was just about to start his dream job.

He succumb to a illness that he had been fighting for a couple of days. This brother and I had several small conversations. We talked about race and sports. One thing that I got from him was that he was aware of the things around him. He loved to talk about WWE & professional sports. And, he put me on to the knowledge and videos when I did the article "Race in WWE & sports."

Although I did not get a chance to meet the brother in person, I feel a certain way knowing that I had conversation with him. I got a small view into another person's world and thought process. And now that person and thought process has gone to a different place.

Death is weird, it is strange.

But, all I can say is appreciate and support those when they are here. Don't wait until someone is gone then celebrate and express your support for someone. Appreciate that person when they are here.

RIP Michael Freeney

FASFA

I try to explore different topics and ideas to discuss/share on the blog. While going through some papers and looking through some stuff, I remember that I forget to write about this topic. Therefore, today we are going to talk about FASFA. First, you may ask, "What is FASFA." FASFA is federal aid or money for going to college. Although they said "federal aid", it is basically tax that is set aside for students who want to go to college, but need money to help pay for college. FASFA is available to students who have need and are looking to attend college (certificate program, associate degree, or 4 year degree). You need to fill out FASFA every year. FASFA should be filled out by any and every student. It is something that will without a doubt helpful in paying for school. A simple summary is basically this: (1) Wait until you or parents file Income Tax (2) Go to this website- https://fafsa.ed.gov/ (3) Create a account (4) Fill out all of the informat...
Hi, my Brothers; I have not posted anything in a couple of days. I was going to write about something different today. However, I saw this video and I had to share it. The anger and outrage I have can not be calculated because this video is too outrageous to believe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJhIN0gUN30 The video link above will direct you to Youtube. Where it shows a video of four Young Brothers being harassed and thrown out of Walmart. It further shows one of the Young Brothers being arrested. They were not harassed and then arrested for Robbery or Theft; but for "JUST HANGING OUT AND SHOPPING TOO SLOW." Yes you heard me, for going to slow in the store. Now this I can't believe. Maybe something else will come out and show otherwise. However, if this was the Young Brothers only "behavior"; then this arrest and event is truly hard to believe. For anyone who has ever grown up in any city in the world, you know summer are boring. Now, ...
