Awesome Kong

I dedicate this post to all the Sisters out here, this character in no way reflects y'all. This is shameful and awful. Y'all are beautiful and to have a racist company produce such garbage in even 2016 shows that we all (Black Men and Women) have a long way to go.

It is reported that profession wrestling is a male dominated sport. Over 80% of the "wrestlers'' on mots company's rosters are male. Almost all of those watching wrestling like WWE is watched by males (over 70%).

Let me say for the record, I stop watching wrestling a while ago. I have always been a little more aware of situations than most kids my age by then. Second, as I got older and start liking the opposite gender, it felt weird watching dudes in tights down around the round. It is nothing right about that.

Anyway, if you want to know more about why I stopped watching wrestling and why I think sports is racist, go checkout my Racism in sports article. Further, it help set up this post, it might help to go checkout my earlier post.

Anyway, I want to talk about something or someone that y'all may not know about. I just heard that Beyoncé is doing a bio movie about Saartjie Baartman, it is truly a sad story and one that needs to be told. However also this story needs to be told.

I remember that this picture of Lebron in a magazine cover shoot got huge backlash. It represented LeBron James as a brute and a ape. A reference and a depiction that was given to Black Males during as well as after slavery. This negative stereotype not only put a bad image on black man, this stereotype was used to justify the hangings, castrations, and brutal killings of countless innocent black males.

If you haven't seen the picture, here it is. It should need that much explaining.

Anyway, this article and cover had a lot of backlash and I believe it was taken down. Or, at least from a social/society point of view, it was condemned. However, you always know someone has to go further. Because what truly is this country without good ole racists. LOL

Here is the Female Version of this cover. However, this person performs and does way more than a one-time photo cover. Now, let me say, I am not dogging my Sister. If she feels this is what feeding here family, personally I could never judge. I said the same that about Cryme Tyme in my article above.

However, I had to highlight this and show you this is still happening in 2016. Or, whatever year it is.

Her name is Awesome Kong, yes by the name you know where I am going. She is a Profession Wrestler, with both TNA and formerly WWE.

Her on the right.

Before, I get in to it, cut your speakers up loud on your computer and listen to here ring entrance music (what song is playing as she walks down into the fighting ring).

In no way did I do something to the music. This is her actual theme music. If your not a movie buff like me, then you don't know. But, this is a reference like the name to King Kong and Planet of the Apes. The ape stomps and the hard breathing.

A character who like LeBron, Mrs. Awesome, and many others has been copied as a wild brute (the stereotypical character associated with black people).

I mean, how many times are we going to be depicted as monkeys or wild animals. This is insane.

Now look at the propaganda. See is known as Awesome Kong (aka female version of LeBron aka King Kong). She is fighting, shall I say European women. What is their names, THE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE.

See, I can't make this stuff up. Go checkout the video. If you ignore any of my other videos or links, please checkout this video. It goes to a 2 minute YouTube clip.

WOW!

That all I have to say.

I believe that Awesome Kong is still on the roster. See, we as a people have a long way to go. Black Men are seen as thugs who need to be trapped or worse. And, Black Women are seen as angry and need to be "controlled.' I am sorry, but this is the hard facts. Don't shoot the messenger, be mad this is still allowed on TV. Even on Black History Month, were we are honoring the blood, sweat, and tears of our ancestors who fought for us to not be in the situations we are in right now.

All I got to say is that the HATE is REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life. Mr. Gregory activism and platform is beyond great, and very ...
"#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
