" School Back Series Part II: Style/Clothes (1/2) "
Now, before I get started; clothes don't make the man. However, a good first impression and a good constant impression (lifetime constant) is extremely valuable. As school is about to start back, or it may have already started back for you; you have a obligation to put your best self forward. Doing every thing you can to succeed. Not only in appearance, behavior, and study hard; but also even doing the small stuff that many forget to watch for (pay attention to detail).
Anyway, if you are like me and you don't like to spend a lot on clothes; then looking good/great impressions can be hard at times. Therefore, I will give you some tips and hacks about how to look your best while staying on a budget.
1. Button up & polo shirts- These two items are by far my favorite article of clothing. The diversity and leverage that comes with are "casual shirts" (bing.com image search) are incredible. You can wear casual shirts with casual pants, jeans, joggers, shirts or whatever and can still make the outfit like clean. Wearing a casual shirt will help make you or any fit not look lazy or unplanned.
2. Shoes- Shoes back in the day were made for protective foot armour. However, shoes have grew into a billion dollar business and shoes at times people judge you based on what's on their feet. Shoes should be a refection of you, however shoes should not be a most expensive article of clothing you have on. You should have a variety of shoes in your closet. Most Young Brother worry about Tennis Shoes or Jordans the most. However, Jordans are not going to get you the internship or the silent respect of a teacher. Now, tennis shoes/sneakers are great. However, you need a variety of shoes. Every Brother should have about five pairs of shoes in their closet. You should have equal or more causal shoes than sneakers. Further, tennis shoes should not be your most expensive shoe (the most expensive tennis shoe I have in my closet is a $30.00 Ross Clearance Nike). Shows that will save you money and that you can wear with a multitude of outfits.

3. Dress Shoes- Dress you will probably not be wear very often at your school (if you attend middle or high-school). However, throwing a dress shoe in there every now and again will without a doubt set you apart from the pack. Mix a dress shoe in with jeans for the right touch of young, but classic (remember "Your A Classic Man." Dress the part with your own flash of youthful style).
