                                                          " Back to School "

This week and in the coming weeks, school is starting back for a lot of Us. Even though school is hard and sometimes vividly unfair, let's make this year bent to our will. Let's make this year work for Us. Education and knowledge is the key to success for Us as a people. Therefore, we need it. That's why this year, we must work hard like it is our "last" year. No excuses, no complaints, and no slacking. Further, I don't care if you are the best student in class; you must stay relentless.

In school this year you will face a abundance of obstacles/situations: crazy teachers, harder school-work, racism/discrimination, peer pressure or hate from your peers. However, handle every situation with the proper and appropriate manner/action. Also, when in school rather in the classroom or out; pay attention and be aware at all-times. Try your hardest to make the right decisions and try to control the situation (or least control yourself).

Be a man this school year, no matter what. Carry yourself as a man, be an adult, and control only what you can control (yourself). Read and gain knowledge. Take in your surroundings, and calculate every situation that you can potentially be in. Think critically and succeed.

Education for Us as Young Black Males is extremely important. Education is worth much more than gold for Us as a people. Only with GOD and Education can we achieve our goals while advancing Our People.

In closing, I hope y'all have a incredible school year. I will be Praying that we have success this semester and beyond. Further, I will do a lot more education posts and I also have a few in my archives.

Anyway, if y'all have any more questions and ideas hit me up on Twitter @ BrownBrotherWeb or on here.

With much love & Respect

FASFA

I try to explore different topics and ideas to discuss/share on the blog. While going through some papers and looking through some stuff, I remember that I forget to write about this topic. Therefore, today we are going to talk about FASFA. First, you may ask, "What is FASFA." FASFA is federal aid or money for going to college. Although they said "federal aid", it is basically tax that is set aside for students who want to go to college, but need money to help pay for college. FASFA is available to students who have need and are looking to attend college (certificate program, associate degree, or 4 year degree). You need to fill out FASFA every year. FASFA should be filled out by any and every student. It is something that will without a doubt helpful in paying for school. A simple summary is basically this: (1) Wait until you or parents file Income Tax (2) Go to this website- https://fafsa.ed.gov/ (3) Create a account (4) Fill out all of the informat...
Hi, my Brothers; I have not posted anything in a couple of days. I was going to write about something different today. However, I saw this video and I had to share it. The anger and outrage I have can not be calculated because this video is too outrageous to believe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJhIN0gUN30 The video link above will direct you to Youtube. Where it shows a video of four Young Brothers being harassed and thrown out of Walmart. It further shows one of the Young Brothers being arrested. They were not harassed and then arrested for Robbery or Theft; but for "JUST HANGING OUT AND SHOPPING TOO SLOW." Yes you heard me, for going to slow in the store. Now this I can't believe. Maybe something else will come out and show otherwise. However, if this was the Young Brothers only "behavior"; then this arrest and event is truly hard to believe. For anyone who has ever grown up in any city in the world, you know summer are boring. Now, ...
