" Back to the Basics "

Hi, What up My Brothers? I hope you guys are enjoying your Saturday or whatever day you read this. Anyway, I want to talk about something. Today, I want to talk about going back to the basics. Now, before you say what? The past was lame or stupid. No, I not talking about going back into the past. But, going back to the basics of things that brought Us as a people success.

Now, let's go back to the basics.

The basics meaning actually living to support each other, not being so crazy about money, and actually respecting women. What has happened to Us in such a little period of time? Has the system corrupted Us so much that we have left behind every value and moral we had.?

The reason why I bring this up is probably because of a recent trip to the mall. Now, I already don't like the mall; but I began to see society once again from a different set of eyes. I saw brainless zombies just walking with no purpose, language that should never be used in front of women, and another even bigger set of zombies mindlessly tapping or texting on their phone.

As I walked around to precisely and with purpose go buy what I needed; I understand what the mall stand for (A building of capitalism filled with items made from the blood, sweat, and tears of the poor for sale to those who are working hard just to be able to afford a few of this items that society has tricked us into believing will upgrade personal value or the opposite "hide personal flaws.")

As I continued to walk around; I saw life as I know it now.  I saw that we have left the very basics of ourselves in the trash cans. We have left from courtship and chivalry to a total lack of manners. We have left family dinners and regular human interaction to now ignoring the person next to you for the love of a phone that you will waste money upgrading in a few months. Even greater than that we have left unity, organization, as well as peace for  hate/mistrust/mistreatment. We have left loving, living, and enjoying the very breathe of life. Everything is either superficial, unsatisfactory, or unfulfilling. I position this question to you. Why is life like this or why do you feel this feeling I have just described?

I'm going to answer for you.

It is because, we have left the Basics of Life behind. We have replaced necessities with wants, needs with earthly pleasure, and now we replace love with a superficial as well as artificial substitute. And, believe me this is not me calling anybody out or writing some stupid rant; this is just your Brother telling you that life is too short to be acting the way we acting. Life is too precious to be living the way we living.

We need to start loving again, start uniting as a People again, start striving for excellence and not for just expensive things. We need to go back to the basics.

That's all I'm really trying to say. Therefore, as you finish the rest of your Saturday (or Monday or whatever day) please heed my words. Go back to the basics of life. Start taking things one day at a time, don't let the "system" distract you, and don't let anyone not even yourself pimp "YOU" out.

Love Yourself and Love Others, Protect Yourself and Protect Others, and lets Unite as One.

As always I love Y'all,

Let's live Basic, but never be Basic.

Sincerely,

Your Brother.

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life. Mr. Gregory activism and platform is beyond great, and very ...
"#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
