" Buy Black: 2015 & Young Brother Method " Sorry, y'all that I have been gone. School has been tiring to say the least. Anyway, I did some "Buy Black" articles that got a lot of attention. Therefore, I wanted to do a new version of buy black. I know first-hand, how high school and the cost of living is. With that being said, some of the last tips may have been unfair for some of My Brothers who know the struggle. Closing, here is another Buy Black article; but most of these tips are free. Therefore, you can be a REAL ONE for FREE!!!!!!!!!!! 1. YouTube- This is the absolute no.1 tip. If you don't read anything else. Read this one. In the TECH & Internet era, you can get rich the right way. Anyway, their are many BL...
" Barber Shop Etiquette " This school year has started or is bout to start for you. Particularly, if you are in middle or high-school; which you might go back on Wednesday. Anyway, you may have just gotten a clean cut or will get another. Well, I'm about to give y'all some Barber Shop "How-To's." Since I'm starting school and have not been able to go to my regular Barber, I have been cutting my own hair. However, as school starts; I will occasionally be going back to the Barber Shop. I still go to my old Barber Shop when I can. However, when you are in a different location. You may have to find a substitute for the meantime. For we all know the Barbers...
" Being honest with y'all: School Series part IV (Doubt)" As you know, I'm a advocate of school and education. Further, even though I feel like a "old soul" I'm just a Young Brother like you; trying to find my way in life. Anyway, I want to be honest as always with y'all. As I'm getting ready for school to start for me, I have a wide variety of emotions. I felt calm early, cool by the middle of the week, however by the end of this week I feel something I've never felt. I felt not nervous, but unprepared and anxious. Now, I have all my material for school and my brain/knowledge is more than ready. But, the inside of me felt weird and off. I haven't elaborated on my personal life, because the Brown Brother is not about me. But...
"Back To School Series" Back to school motivation/goals. I find out that when I set goals, I have more purpose and direction. As Young Black Males, we must strive to achieve goals and go past the bars that anyone sets. Therefore, this year as you are beginning or have began school; set goals. Education is one of the most important things that you can receive. Therefore, achieve and achieve again. Rather striving to get a B+ instead of a B. Or rather that means running for class president, trying out for the basketball team, or striving for Valedictorian. Always have goals in mind and do your best to make the dram a reality. Further, don't fall into the trap of mediocrity or "l...
" Back to School: Part II (2/2) " 4. Ties/Accessories- When trying to look clean while broke, certain accents will help make a "sub-par" fit like better. Also, with accessories; you don't have to buy tons of clothes for you to look different. Take for instance, you have a plain white button up: On Monday you can wear the button up plain with khaki shorts and on Friday you can wear the same white shirt with a simple stripped tie ($2 dollars at a thrift store) and jeans. You see the tie/accessory makes the outfit brand new. (Exclude the Jacket). 5. Thrift Stores/ Clearance Sections- When in school, a great way to save money and still look clean is going to stores that have...
" School Back Series Part II: Style/Clothes (1/2) " Now, before I get started; clothes don't make the man. However, a good first impression and a good constant impression (lifetime constant) is extremely valuable. As school is about to start back, or it may have already started back for you; you have a obligation to put your best self forward. Doing every thing you can to succeed. Not only in appearance, behavior, and study hard; but also even doing the small stuff that many forget to watch for (pay attention to detail). Anyway, if you are like me and you don't like to spend a lot on clothes; then looking good/great impressions can be hard at times. Therefore, I will give you some tips and hacks about how to look your best while staying on a budget....
" The Barber Shop " I told y'all I was going to down more lifestyle/life post. Therefore, today I want to talk about The Barber Shop. For many of Us as African-American Males, the Barber shop means many things. A place to vent, a place to roast, a place to get advice, and etc. To many others it means even more, the Barber Shop for many African-American Males is the only place/time to be around other Black Males figures. Many of our Barbers are mentors, friends, father figures, and allies.  In the Barber Shop, we become part of who we are and it builds connects (some for a lifetime). Further, we can go into the thing that brings Us supe...
" Back to School " This week and in the coming weeks, school is starting back for a lot of Us. Even though school is hard and sometimes vividly unfair, let's make this year bent to our will. Let's make this year work for Us. Education and knowledge is the key to success for Us as a people. Therefore, we need it. That's why this year, we must work hard like it is our "last" year. No excuses, no complaints, and no slacking. Further, I don't care if you are the best student in class; you must stay relentless. In school this year you will face a abundance of obstacles/situations: crazy teachers, harder school-work, racism/discrimination, peer pressur...
"Politics Are Beginners: Breaking Down The Basics for Young Brothers" With all these political words and statements being thrown around. With all these "political parties" and "affiliations" it can be hard to understand all this mess. Everyone wants to start at the top and confuse folks with big words. However, I wanted to breakdown politics and the meaning behind the words. As a first time or new coming voter, many of y'all may just do what your parents do. In contrast, you may walk to the beat of your own drum. However, I want to answer simple questions and help you understand the root of things. Therefore, in this series I will answer: What is a democrat? What is a republican? What is a campaign, election, and other truly important stuff that get swapped under the rug. Therefore, in part 1 we will discuss " What is demo...
"Mike Brown: One Year Later" Today, as you know it was the one year anniversary of Mike Brown. Our Departed Brother was shot in his hometown of Ferguson last year to this date. Before, I even began I want to say My Heart & Prayers go to Mike Brown's Parents as well as family. On this date last years and the days that followed: Hearts were broken, faith was lost, hurt was in the air, pain, anger, and every other emotion in between. What come out of Ferguson was nothing good or optimist. However, it highlighted something that even those who don't want to admit it have to think about. It brought light to the very root and core of America's Flaws. RIP Mike Brown.

"Education" Post featured on Criticl.me Education means many things: success, knowledge, and the one that probably everyone can relate to- DEBT! However, education means a lot more to me. Maybe, it is because I am a Young Man of Color. Possibly it is the fact that with education, I can better myself at further being a positive role model/example. Whatever, it is; I place education close to my heart. I not going to go into the emotional and personal details, but I am going to explain what it means for Me as a Young African-American Male. (1) Education and knowledge has opened my mind personally t...
Article featured on Criticl.me  Today, as I write this; it is the 4th day of August of the year 2015. The weather is hot and it is tax-free weekend, therefore it can only mean one thing: School is back. Rather, high-school or college; each year people has to travel the old and respected journey of achieving their educational goals. Many will fall because of peer pressure, financial situations, and unfortunate obstacles hidden close by. Especially, as a African-American Male; we in particular face daily obstacles. From financial, discriminative, to even unplanned as well as unseen "obstacles." From neighborhoods, old "beefs, to even the constant mindset of knowing; family has been left behind. The pressures and burdens of the journey to education and manhood is one that only the strong can survive. With a sad heart, I wish things were not like this. I wish I and many of My Brown Brothers were not getting attacked from the many sides of life. Heck, all the sides of l...
"First Official Monthly Update" Hi, what's up My Brothers! I Pray y'all are having a Blessed & Productive Day. Anyway, I have been writing articles non-stop on the site Criticl.me and I have also been working hard to put out great content always. Anyway, because things take money and a lot of hard-work everything that I want to help y'all with is coming together slowly, but smoothly. Therefore, I can't complain too much. Remember, "Short Steps, Long Vision." While, also because school is starting back; I'm going to still try to put out the absolute best stuff I can: I will not stop with the number of articles I put out. However, because school is busy and hard enough ...
"Baltimore, Freddie Gray, and The Post-Uprising" As I was running the channels on my TV trying to find a game or something to watch, a headline immediately caught my eye. On what is considered by myself to be my least favorite channel on TV: Fox News gave a "statistic" that was supposed to be made to shame all inner-city Baltimore and the Black Lives Matter Movement. Although, without this being said; I know every person will agree with me that Fox is just a channel for those with conservative and/or radical views. Further, their main purpose is to try to tear-down or make those in "inner-city" communities as well as those who champion for people in "inner-city" communities look stupid, kill the character, and make their very opinion look inaccurate. Anyway, your probably saying well if you know that this is their ...
" Back to the Basics " Hi, What up My Brothers? I hope you guys are enjoying your Saturday or whatever day you read this. Anyway, I want to talk about something. Today, I want to talk about going back to the basics. Now, before you say what? The past was lame or stupid. No, I not talking about going back into the past. But, going back to the basics of things that brought Us as a people success. Now, let's go back to the basics. The basics meaning actually living to support each other, not being so crazy about money, and actually respecting women. What has happened to Us in such a little period of time? Has the system corrupted Us so m...
Hi, What up My Brothers I haven't posted any non-article related content in a minute. There is a reason for this, everyday we are getting closer to putting the book out for y'all and also I'm working on putting out some free content (YouTube, free lifestyle guide DVD's, and some free giveaways). Wow, I mean 2015 has been a blessed year for Us. Even through the tragedy, heart-break, and heart-ache; what is so amazing about Us as a people is we always find a way to triumph in the face of difficulty. Anyway, as I always say I'm a Man of my Word; although the book is taking longer than expected it will be ready soon. Furthermore, please believe that I am working 7 days a week to make sure the Brown Brother is as successful as can be. We will go into 2016, ready & knowledgeable to conquer any obstacles that try to destroy Us. Now, with that being said let's get into the Brown Brother "Book of the Month" and Word "To Remember." Brown ...
