2016

Well, we finally made it!

If your reading this than that means you have not succumb to the fact of being constantly targeted, the pressures of being a young black male, or you have not succumb to the dangers of your environment as well as being a product of your environment in the year 2015.

For that and many reason, you are blessed and in a better position than others. I don't usually start a post off like this but, I feel that 2016 is truly going to be different. Instinct has been around longer than the computer or weapons of mass destruction, therefore it is safe to say that my instinct is correct.

Now, don't get me wrong, we will see many things that will take a little piece of us away. We unfortunately will see another unarmed brother get killed. We will also see the steep decline in the place we call the United States of America. Last, there will still be poison (of various forms) in our communities.

However, what will be different about this year has to be two things (1) personal growth and (2) the fact that we as young brothers are sick as well as tired of the status quo.

We are sick of the same old game of being captured in the trap that has been sat for us. We are tired of being statistics and at that the worst numbers of those statistics.

We are tired of being seen as the bottom. We are ready for change and not the 2008 CHANGE!!!

But, real and honest change.

I can't promise y'all that everything will be perfect and I can't even promise that we all will be driving Benz by the end of 2016. However, if you stand along side me. Heck even greater than that, if we stand along side each others than things will be different.

Do you want change?

Then, follow me with the things I'm doing and follow your instincts. Your instincts are the purest thing you got. Think clearly, eat healthy, and spiritually open yourself to another level of learning.

Follow your instincts and that shall always lead you to the right thing.

Instincts teaches us to love ourselves and our people.

And, if we can do that then 2016 will be the absolute closest thing to Heaven on Earth!!!!!

Sincerely,

The Brown Brother

Peace, Prosperity, and Good Health (in every area of life)!!!!

Hi, my Brothers; I have not posted anything in a couple of days. I was going to write about something different today. However, I saw this video and I had to share it. The anger and outrage I have can not be calculated because this video is too outrageous to believe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJhIN0gUN30 The video link above will direct you to Youtube. Where it shows a video of four Young Brothers being harassed and thrown out of Walmart. It further shows one of the Young Brothers being arrested. They were not harassed and then arrested for Robbery or Theft; but for "JUST HANGING OUT AND SHOPPING TOO SLOW." Yes you heard me, for going to slow in the store. Now this I can't believe. Maybe something else will come out and show otherwise. However, if this was the Young Brothers only "behavior"; then this arrest and event is truly hard to believe. For anyone who has ever grown up in any city in the world, you know summer are boring. Now, ...

FASFA

I try to explore different topics and ideas to discuss/share on the blog. While going through some papers and looking through some stuff, I remember that I forget to write about this topic. Therefore, today we are going to talk about FASFA. First, you may ask, "What is FASFA." FASFA is federal aid or money for going to college. Although they said "federal aid", it is basically tax that is set aside for students who want to go to college, but need money to help pay for college. FASFA is available to students who have need and are looking to attend college (certificate program, associate degree, or 4 year degree). You need to fill out FASFA every year. FASFA should be filled out by any and every student. It is something that will without a doubt helpful in paying for school. A simple summary is basically this: (1) Wait until you or parents file Income Tax (2) Go to this website- https://fafsa.ed.gov/ (3) Create a account (4) Fill out all of the informat...
