Why I hate hip-hop in 2015

Over and over again, I have tried to dismiss and even fool myself out of believing my new opinion. For months, I have defended myself about hip-hop. I have repeatedly said that "I love hip-hop." However, as of today, I have honestly comes to grips that I have no hope in hip-hop. And, as I listen o the music of today, I realized that there is a difference between poetry (J. Cole) and this trash that 's being played now. I have came to realize, that for us to be in a better state than we are in right now, we must change the game of hip-hop. Now, let me explain.

On a recent drive to the store, or I am have been doing to school, I heard a by the rapper by Ty Dolla Sign & Future. The song was called "Blasé." When I heard the song, I thought that the song was the most idiotic and dumbest song, I ever heard. I mean the lyrics (if I can even call them that) equaled to such a ignorant and brainless level that it left me more unsettled than usual.

The "Blasé" song is so low not only in class, but in also intelligence that it would be a insult to say the words are compare to a juneville level. Actually, when I heard the song, it reminded me of a baby. You know when a baby says "gaga-gugu (or whatever)."

I mean, you got grown men with babies themselves, using this kind of language. Not only is the music destroying the brain-cells and intelligence of the rappers, but also the countless black boy as well as girls that listen to this mess.

I will be man enough to say it, honestly, this music is no good. For us as a people to rise the next generation of leaders, we must make sure they do not fall by the waste-side. This is a example, of change that must come. If the non-black owned record companies and radio station will only play this junk, than we must create our own stations/companies. Heck, more important than this, if the companies and stations right now will not play conscious music, then we must sure that this kind of music does not negatively affect anymore of "our people."

Now, you may say that my stance is extreme, however we must get extreme with our thinking and action. If we don't change our circumstances, then no one will.

Further, it is not just me who holds this belief of this ignorant music. More people agree with me than you think. Look at what Legendry rapper Snoop Dogg aka "Uncle Snoop" had to say about this ignorant rap being put out by Future, Migos, and other un-enlighten "new age" rappers.

See, by putting at this type of music, the "powers that be" know what they are doing. They are destroying our minds and are making our very conscious mush.

In closing, this new age of hip-hop was not created by us. Also, those who decide what track is hot or not is not us. These individuals are non-black record companies who are milking us for money. And, it should be noted that a very reliable sources says that many of these non-black record companies are in correlation/partnership with the prison system to help put more black males on the slave ship (prison and jail).

Now, I can't tell you what to do. But, I advise you to think about your listening habits. Because the eyes are the absolute closest path to your brain.

Sincerely,

The Brown Brother

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life.                                                           "#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
