                                                      " Don't Let Fake, Fool You "

-Brown Brother Exclusive #2

Again, I believe that before I start a article like this, I must defend myself. I am a huge fan of hip-hop, I like hip-hop positive culture, and I only feel that J. Cole is the only real rapper in the game right now. Therefore, by those three insights about myself, I feel I have particularly explained my case/mindset.

What all three of the examples I wrote about have in common is that they all make sense to me. All three of the examples I made are true in form. Back in the day hip-hop was for us. It was made by Us. It told our lives, our struggles, and our hopes/dream. However, what we have now is basically a joke.

But, before I start ranting, I will stay on the topic at hand.

Don't let the fake, fool you. My young Brothers, society influences Us. Rather we like it or not. On a even deeper level than this, we are influenced by default. A lot of brothers who don't have a father or father figures tend to lean to others for guidance. At this very young and venerable time, we accept at times even fantasy as reality. It's even worst because we do not have a father or mentor to tell us different. However, that's why I'm here.

Now, I know that the gold chain is appealing. I know that fast money is appealing and I know that the perks of being like the guys on TV looks right. However, these guys are fake.

Most of these guys say they are real ones, however they live in secluded neighborhoods and are just pawns or puppets. Look around, they are nowhere near our communities. However, the way they talk, you would think that they are right around the corner.

In addition, I believe that it was Rich Homie Quan who said "made two million of a mixtape." However, if you watch his videos, he is driving cars that at times surpasses his net worth. Why, you ask?

Because, they aren't his.

So why does he have them, you ask?

Because, he and the record company knows that the nice cars, beautiful females, and the gold chains will entice you.

But, guess what? It is all fake.

As soon as the videos is over, the cars, clothes, and models go back to there individual places. I say all this to say that it is fake. I mean think, how many times have you heard your favorite rappers say he was going to kill someone. However, the last three biggest hip-hop beefs ended in what?

Drake Vs. Meek Mills --Drake raps some weak verses, Meek Mills (known "tough guy" backed down like a he was scared of a "singing brother.''

Game vs. Yung Thug --- Verbal Blows, Game (a known "gang-banger") and Yung Thug (self acclaimed "thug"). However, nothing happened. No one died.

Chris Brown Vs. Drake-- Bar brawl, in which it is reported Drake got his "LA Basketball Wives" on. He throw a Chocolate Martini (Alcoholic Beverage) at Chris Brown. This is a punk move to say the least.

Now, why am I saying this?

Because, they are all talk but no bite. Further, a lot of brothers are thinking their lyrics are true. They live the lyrics of the rappers, thinking this is manhood. However, what happens in the end. Well, Drake throws a drink at Chris Brown and the Game makes vain threats on Instagram, nothing goes down.

However, you go throw a drink on a man in Chicago and see what happens.

I tell you what happens. You will end up died. Or, in prison. Because both of you guys won't be able to live in the same area without one of you dying. I'm sorry, but I'm being brutally honest.

See my brothers, they are faking a lifestyle.

(A) never lived. or
 (B) don't live anymore.

However, a lot of the consumer (us) are buying into the "trap." Further, we see the propaganda and planned moves of rappers as manhood. However, as I stated constantly, manhood is about respect as well as responsibility. And, I'm not seeing it from fakers.

For example, Rick Ross was a prison guard. Not a "prisoner", but a correctional officer. He was a officer of the law. However, all he talks about now is guns, drugs, and women. Now, talk about playing both fields. And, Lil Wayne graduated college, although he is constantly poisoning the youth with foul lyrics.

Remember, Wayne said he is only a role model for "two." (2008 Interview with The View Talk Show). Therefore, I pose the question: Why are we following him?

In closing, don't let these guys fool you. Rather, rappers or someone you know in your personal life. Don't let the fake fool you. It is fool's gold. If you don't know what it means, look it up on the Internet.

Anyway, as always, I'm proud of y'all for trying to stay enlightened. I appreciate y'all taking time to read and learn. I believe that we can all successful. And, I support each and every young black brother around the world.

Much Love and Respect,

The Brown Brother

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life. Mr. Gregory activism and platform is beyond great, and very ...
"#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
