"Buy Black": No excuses the alternatives and the time are there.

Again, I preach this as always. Buy and Support Black Businesses at all cost. The other day I brought y'all a shocking and truly sad statistic. We, African-Americans have over a Trillion Dollars (1,000,000,000,000) (that's a billion times  (x) 1,000). Man, I have never seen so many zeroes. However, the dumb, ignorant, and sad part is Black Owned Businesses only see 2% (sometimes less than 2%) of that trillion-plus dollars.

I'm sick beyond belief.

However, instead of always trying to preach, convince,  or call-out anyone. I'm going to show you some important and impressive Black-Owned Businesses. This are "OUR" alternative; instead of going to Amazon.com, or Walmart, or making Nike rich: Here are some of my favorite Black-Owned Businesses for African-American Males.

1. Shoes: Negash Shoes.
A Black Owned Shoe Company out of Detroit. These Brothers combined high quality style with a unique look that many companies don't have. These Negash Shoes are without a doubt some of the best shoes I have ever seen. From Leather Boot style shoes to Sweatshirts and hoodies. Negash is a go-to style for any Brother who appreciates style like myself. Further, you don't won't to look like everyone else. People (more specifically the opposite gender) appreciate Brothers that look different. Heck, even for yourself; you should want to be a leader not a follower. For about $150 you have your very own pair of Negash Shoes or about $40 for a sweatshirt. I mean come on, you can spend $200 plus on Jordans but not on a up-and-coming Black Owned Business with values?
For info or our their products go to http://www.negash83.com/

2. Everyday Life: The Dapper Black Box
A Black Owned Company created specifically for Black Males. The Dapper Black Box sends monthly subscribers 3-4 men's accessories & toiletries from black owned brands. Also, it should be said that some of the profits from the a less than a dollar a day Box goes back into other Black-Owned Businesses . Therefore, not only are you actively keeping this Black-Businesses running, but you are helping other Businesses as well. (However, it should be noted that you can only use PayPal as the method of paying). #SeeTheBiggerPicture  dapperblackbox.com/invest

3. Clothing: http://mosbowsmemphis.com/ "Mo's Bows" or Tie Posh Knots on Black
Etsy at https://www.etsy.com/shop/TiePoshKnots?page=1

Created by a 11 year old kid, Mo Bows has became a successful Black-Owned Business. Rather for church or just everyday life (I were A shirt, Bow-Tie, and Jeans to the store) every man young and old needs at least one Bow-Tie in his arsenal.  For about $40 Dollars, you can have a Mo's Bow-Bow Tie.
However, also for a cheaper alternative checkout this other Black-Owned Bow-Tie Company called TiePoshKnots. These ties start at $10 Dollars: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TiePoshKnots?page=1

4. The essentials and everyday products: Ujamaa Market

From Tooth Paste, Soap, and many other products. Ujamaa Market are one of the few Black-Owned alternatives that offer the bear essentials we need in life: Hygiene Products and much more. To checkout the site and their products go to http://www.ujamaamarket.net/

5. Bevel Shaving System

I know a lot of my Brothers are not old enough to shave. However, for some of my older Brothers; this is the perfect company for you. Bevel is a monthly subscription that sends you Shaving Products tailor for Males of Color. Created by a Brother Mr. Tristan Walker. For a monthly flat rate, you get the he tools and essentials needed for a great shaving experience.

In closing, there are plenty of Black-Owned Businesses hat we can support and patronize. Therefore, we as a People have no excuse. Further, it time for Us to change the way we give our hard-earned money.

I leave you with this question. Would you rather (A) give your hard-earned money to up-and-coming African-American Owned Business, (B) Make Walmart even Richer, or (C) You really don't care. If you picked (B) or (C); I feel disappoint that you either don't care and/or are unenlighten about the world and Our People.

You say you are a REAL ONE: Then Prove It.
BUY BLACK TODAY.

Sincerely,

The Brown Brother

PS: I (The Brown Brother) was not compensated or paid for posting these companies. Further, I have yet to try all the products listed. However, the ones I have tried worked out very well.

I am a big-believer and supporter of Black-Owned Business.

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life. Mr. Gregory activism and platform is beyond great, and very ...
"#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
