The worst thing man can do is say no to you!

First, before I even start this blog, I want to say that my heart and prayers go out to all the victims of the attacks on Paris. Anytime tradedy happens no matter the age, race, or nationality; it hits home. Because I know what We as a people went through, the pain of being terrorized and having love ones killed is unspeakable. Therefore, #PrayforParis

Also, prays go to Africa. The Motherland has been victim to many terrorist attacks lately. Therefore, prays go to all the African nations. The land of all creation as well as origins has been under attack by chaos and faceless forces. Therefore, prays go to our HOME-COUNTRY!!!

Again, my thoughts and prayers are with everybody tonight and always. Maybe it is true, the system of  "elites" are evil. However, whoever is behind these attacks, no matter WHO are pure evil. Killing innocent people is wrong PERIOD!!!!

Sincerely,

 - The Brown Brother

Now, let's get into the lesson for today. This lesson I pray is one that will stick with you for the rest of your life. The lesson that I want to highlight is very relevant and something you will face when you begin to start following your dreams.

The message for today is "The worst thing people can do is say no to you! "

It is shame how much of a J. Cole fan I am, however I remember hearing a story about before he got signed to a record deal. While, Cole was still in college I believe, he heard Jay Z was going to be at a certain place in New York.

Being the opportunist that Cole was he went down there with his friend. The plan was for Cole to give Jay Z his mix-tape. He then hoped the result would be Jay listening to the tape and eventually sign him. However, after waiting in the cold rain for what seemed like eternity, Jay Z and his team pulled up to the designated spot.

J. Cole sprung into action and right as Jay Z passed him, he give Jay his mix-tape. Cole told Jay that he was a up-and-coming rapper, and basically just asked Jay Z to listen to the cd when he got a chance. However, instead of Jay being cool about it he responded in a non-favorable manner. I don't know was Jay Z pissed or is he mean spirited. But, he not only said no, he went as far to cuss J. Cole out.

See, Jay Z did the most discouraging thing legally he could do: He said NO!!

However, that is about he had the power to do. See, the only thing man can truly do to you is say no. Say no to giving you a fair shot at life, say no to accepting you into your dream university, or at the example pointed out: say no to your mix-tape that you put your blood and tears into.

But, honestly that is about  it. That's why you must have a strong mind and spirit.

People will try to discourage you, no matter what your cause is. People will hate and ridicule what you do no matter what. However, with a determined mind and attitude, you will see that barking is no way compared to s bite.

The worse thing someone can do when you are following your dreams is say no. But, that should not stop you from pursuing them anyway. For GOD's Sake, a hundred people may see no.

So WHAT!!!

The old saying goes, "Tough times don't last forever, only tough people do."

Therefore, you can do several things with the word NO. You can use the negativity of the word NO as a ball and chain that weights you down for the rest of your life, or you could use the word NO to stop you from following what is important to you in life. On the other hand, you could use the word no as motivation and determination.

Nobody will tell you this, but you can't spell the phrase "Constant Success" with the letters N-O.

C-(O)-(N)-S-T-A-N-T  SUCCESS will always be met with quite a few no's. However, when you begin to see no as a Motivator and not a OPPRESSOR, you will become more sharp in your thinking as well as decision making.

In closing, success is not determined by the amount of N-O's you have heard or the amount of Yes ever heard. Real success is what you do in the face of NO, and how you respond when you hear those two letter together. Do you stand tall and find your way through life without the person beyond that word, or do you give up?

With a love for the word Yes, but a respect for the word No-

The Brown Brother

RIP Muhammad Ali (The Greatest)

As you have heard the sad news by now, the great Muhammad Ali has passed on. He was laid to rest yesterday. When I say passed on, he has moved on to another journey. To another place to inspire, love, encourage, and communicate without bounds or limits. Mr. Ali is free yet again. I don't have to say what Mr. Ali meant to me. Just from past articles, tweets, and videos, you guys already know what he meant to me. He was a inspiration, hero, mentor, and someone to look up to and listen; learning and hanging on to has every word. Even if those words were 50 years old, they still hold relevance to this very day. I am keeping this post short, because no true words can describe what he meant to me, to all of us. However, I will end this post like this. Heroes are remembered, but legends never die. Therefore, he was the greatest legend ALL-TIME. And, he will live on as long as WE as a PEOPLE are still ALIVE!!!!! Rest Easy Champ!!!!!!!

RIP Mr. Dick Gregory

Mr. Dick Gregory was much more than a comedian. To simply say he was a comedian would almost water-down his greatness. The greatness in which he used a comedic style to educate those of various generations and philosophies. Mr. Dick Gregory was a man of intelligence, sophistication, and humor. Mr. Gregory was a truth seeker and one whom understood that a man must always investigate the conspiracy as well as facts written in the open to truly get a possible understanding of this cryptic world. Baba Gregory understood the importance of health and taking care of one's body. He understand the importance of a healthy spiritual life, and having a true connection with the one true universal GOD. And, the importance of being aware of our ancestors whom came before we all did. Furthermore, Mr. Gregory understood the importance of mental awareness, and the idea to continue to read and learn throughout the journey of life. Mr. Gregory activism and platform is beyond great, and very ...
"#TheFlagMustGo" Growing up, I have seen the Confederate flag so many times I could not count. As, a Young age I knew the Flag was wrong. Then, as I got older I was about to study the origins as well as the very people who created, represented, and coveted the flag; I truly had my answer: The Flag Must Go. Before, I give my opinion; I am going to give y'all unmistakable and unarguable facts. In 1861, politician William Porcher Miles designed the flag. As I studied the very man who created the "confederacy flag." I wanted to understand his doctrine and beliefs. I wanted to see what he wanted to create, pass-down, and strength who's cau...
