To sum up MLK Day, it was a great day. Beautiful weather and many volunteers willing as well as ready to serve. Personally, I wish everyday could be like this. A day of remembrance, reflection, and impact. Today, a lot of us got involved and attained some of the numerous events that were held. Most of us knew the importance of what it meant to reiterate and collaborate with some of the message Dr. King blessed us with. Young and old; brown or other, we came together to extend the reach and experience the life lessons of unity as well as hope. In closing, MLK Day 2015 was amazing and I hope that the lessons learned today will last as long as time exists.
I try to explore different topics and ideas to discuss/share on the blog. While going through some papers and looking through some stuff, I remember that I forget to write about this topic.
