Things Change: New Season

I believe that everyone eventually finds themselves. I mean how can you not find yourself? You are the same person you see in the mirror. People go crazy trying to find the one person that is always where you are at all-times, YOURSELF... However, I do think that things change, each of us has a individual journey and decision to make in our lifetime. Particularly, doing our extensive journey through manhood. We each have a unique path to take to ensure whatever outcome. Which is ultimately the consequence (good or bad) of the things we choose while on the journey/path. As I type this post, I find myself searching. Not for myself, for I know who I am. I am a young Black man in America, simply trying to make it. However, I am searching for everything that this one definition involves and requires. "Chance the Rapper & Michael Bennett"

I love to highlights the positive narratives of young Black men, something that the media hates to do. Therefore, when I heard the news about "Chance the Rapper" and Michael Bennett, I had to share the story. I already know that y'all know who Chance the Rapper is, and also I know that y'all know Michael Bennett (no.72 for the Seattle Seahawks). Although one brother is a multiple Grammy winner and the other brother is a Super-bowl champion, I am not here today to talk about their entertainment/athletic accomplishments. I am here to talk about their awareness and their educational accomplishments. I am here to boast and celebrate that these two brothers are real brothers that refuse to be puppets for the system. This week, both Chance the Rapper and Michael Bennett made great strives to help this next generation succeed even in the face of a oppression as well as rigged system.
