Christmas time is here. We may at times get confused and distracted with gifts and electronics. However, what we must focus on Christmas is the very important aspects and details of life.  Understanding what it means to be a man. Understanding what it will take to move forward and make 2015 the most event-filled and goal-oriented year to date. Striving for excellent and doing whatever we can to be the best we can be. Striving to do whatever we can to also make even the people around us better. Let's not for a second get sidetracked. Let have fun, let be at peace, and as important let remember what this holiday season is about. Using, him as a perfect example of what love, strength, and sacrifice truly means. From the past months and hack everyday life, you should know that life is what man makes it. Therefore, Christmas is a perfect time to make a powerful impact on others. This holiday also remember to think of others. It is better to give than to receive. Happy Holidays, ...
May brothers, I know I am late. However, it is a new month and our Brown Brother book of the month is "Black Man Emerging" by: Joseph L. Wright and James H. Cones III.
College is higher than ever now-a-days. Therefore, scholarships and many grants will be incredibly helpful. There are many scholarships out there, but did you know there are scholarships and websites that can help you find resources. Also, there are many scholarships just for African-Americans. Here are five scholarships services or programs that may help you. 1. United Negro College Fund Scholarships- For years UNCF has put African-American men and women through college. This organization was started many years ago just for giving scholarships. 2.                                                                   "Open Letter" Thank You, LeBron James, Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, and many others for showing support and standing up for many of the voiceless people that have been trying to protest for change. Thank you for not being silent or going into hiding when your people need you most. Thank you for giving your fans and young men who look up to you; a reassurance that you too know what its like to be a brown man in a society that has been and at times still is full of hate. Thank you, for letting people who buy your tennis shoes know that you don't just look at us as customers or financial numbers. However,...
Thank God, that our influential brothers are speaking up for Eric Garner and many others like him. This week Lebron James and many others are supporting Mr. Eric  Garner they were t-shirts that say I can't breathe in support of the him and the protesters marching that are calling for change in America.
Power demonstration of brotherhood, done by Mr. Derrick Rose, Lebron James, and many other athletes in showing support for the late Mr. Eric Garner. #blacklivesmatter #ericgarner
This is a powerful picture. This is how we can heal and come together.
Power and peaceful protest for Mr. Eric Garner
Today I am calling out every African-American athlete, rapper, and influential being. They are saying and doing little to nothing. We buy their music, their sneakers, and their products. But when we need them they do nothing. These people we look up to are being irresponsible and are acting cowardily.
Mike Brown's stepfather being investigated. Mike's stepfather was angry in the results of his son's case. However, he is being investigated and is potentially going to jail. He loses a son and in that moment he lost his temper. Now some want him arrested. What's fair about that.  (Male with the blue Shirt)
There needs to be more justice for a brown man in today's society. In the latest news" Mr. Eric Garner death case is spreading around America. Unarmed, this man died. No CPR or help, his heart give out from the stress of being in a avoidable situation. This is issue that needs to stop. We need to figure out how not to take a step backwards in the racial advancement of this country. #Justice #Fair-Treatment-for-all
